What are dreams?
Dreams are basically stories and images that make up our minds as we sleep. They can be vivid. They can make you happy, sad or scared. And they may seem vague or completely rational.
Dreams can happen at any time during sleep. But when your brain is most active, you have your most vivid dreams during a phase of REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. Some experts say that we dream at least four to six times a night.
Happy dream
A beautiful dream is one in which you know you are dreaming. Research shows that dreaming promotes activity in certain parts of the brain that are generally relaxing during sleep. Rheumatic dreaming between REM sleep and waking is a mental state.
Some beautiful dreamers are able to change their story, affect their dreams, so to speak. Sometimes, especially during a nightmare, this can be a good tactic, but many dream experts say it's best to keep your dreams flowing naturally.
